Welcome to Songs About Growing UP. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Songs About Growing UP website and services at songsaboutgrowingup.com (the “Service”), operated by Songs About Growing UP (“Songs About Growing UP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service or buying anything from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Songs About Growing UP

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us or create an account. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.

2. What Songs About Growing UP does

Songs About Growing UP turns a short story you write into a personalized song and offers optional extras such as a voice-cloned vocal (“Your Voice”), a lyric video, printable lyric art, and audio downloads. We work with service providers to create and deliver your song and any extras you choose.

3. The content you provide

You are responsible for the story, names, photos, and any voice recordings you give us (“Your Content”). You represent that you own or have the rights and permissions needed to provide Your Content and to have a song created from it, and that Your Content does not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law.

You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant Songs About Growing UP and its service providers a limited license to process Your Content solely to create and deliver your order, and to operate and maintain the Service.

4. Voice cloning (“Your Voice”)

If you use Your Voice, you may only submit a recording of your own voice and must complete live verification. You must not submit or clone another person’s voice, even with their permission. Using the Service to deceive, defraud, harass, or impersonate a person is strictly prohibited and will result in termination.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or share content that:

• is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or obscene;
• infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• uses another person’s name or likeness without their consent;
• submits or clones another person’s voice, even with their permission;
• impersonates a person or organization or is intended to mislead; or
• attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service.

6. Your song and how you can use it

Once your order is paid, you may use your song, video, and printable lyric art for personal, non-commercial purposes — to gift, share, print, and keep. We cannot guarantee that a song is wholly unique or that a similar song will never be produced for someone else. If you want to use your song commercially, contact us first.

7. Payments, previews, and refunds

You can preview a portion of your song for free before paying. Prices are shown at checkout. Because our products are custom, digital, and made-to-order, they are generally non-refundable once the full song is unlocked or generated. If something went wrong on our end, contact us and we’ll try to make it right. Optional one-time add-ons are described on our pricing page and are subject to these Terms.

8. Third-party service and payment providers

We rely on third-party providers to generate music, vocals, lyrics, and artwork, and to process payments. Your Content is shared with these providers only as needed to fulfill your order. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Songs About Growing UP name, logo, website, and design are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission. These Terms do not transfer any Songs About Growing UP intellectual property to you beyond the license to use your own finished order as described above.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a custom song will meet your expectations. Results can vary based on your details, recording, and chosen style.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Songs About Growing UP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to the Service for anyone who breaks these Terms.
